Reference Project The Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW)

BBAW is the largest non-university research institute for the humanities in the Berlin-Brandenburg region.

Since 2012, the event center of BBAW uses the software Servalino to manage its events: From the room reservation to the generation of rental and service contracts up to the transfer of the relevant billing information to the commercial system.

The actual and planned occupation of the offices of the seven Academy locations is also realized via this software. The precise daily room occupancy serves as a basis for a source-related cost allocation.

The customized Servalino IT solution supports the following processes:

• Booking and invoicing of events
• Management of alternative booking appointments
• Booking multiple options on a room for an improved occupancy rate
• Billing on basis of deposited price lists for different groups of people
• Quick evaluations of space utilization
• Room occupancy at different locations, incl. generation of telephone lists
• Source-related cost allocation
